I have to admit that most files are worth a lot more to me
in terms of increased registrations, than the amount of
MicroEconomy money they've earned.
How about bumping the monthly EuBucks allotment to say,
$6? I am utterly amazed when I think of the amount of
work that has gone into the development of some of the
major user contributions. The EuBucks earned by even
the most elaborate libraries probably only represent
pennies per hour of total development time.

Simple fact is, there's no.. ( well, ...very little ) incentive to vote.
While it might be a 'book-keeping' nightmare, offering a $10 Eubucks 'prize' to
a lucky registered voter ( who uses the voting system ) twice a year, or
something similar, would probably encourage more participation.

Interesting suggestion Wolf. But I think I'd rather see rewards passed
to the programmers who have earned it. Increasing the EuBucks allotment
allows users to encourage and reward contributors who are developing
programs and Libraries most in need - that is the motivation. Increasing
the Eubuck voting allotment may not increase the volume of participation,
but it may provide more positive reinforcement to the contributors.
I don't think that Rob could afford to offer a EuBuck voting bounty
to registered users just to encourage their participation
large enough to be effective without risking too much of his bottom line.

I agree with you 100%, however, your $6 suggestion has it's downside too.
I'm not sure that any contributor who manages to collect a dozen ( $6 ) votes
should necessarily be entitled to it's 'benefits', just because they got lucky
for a month or two.
As 'cute' as it is, the voting system is just a 'momentary' expression of a
(usually) biased opinion.
RDS would probably be better off by rewarding contributors directly, for
contributions that 'it' considers 'financially rewarding'.

Out of the estimated 78 people who downloaded my
restart library I got $0.00 Eu$s.
Not much incentive for me to work on uploading
another one of my librarys... Especily with the
price increase of Euphoria...

On the other hand, one of your other programs
might be a MicroEconomy bonanza. You'll never
know if you don't share them. And you really
don't have anything to lose by sharing them
unless you intend to market the other programs
professionally.

I am planning to release CJBN some day, the first
alpha demo should be ready in a few weeks.
