Use EECS. It has most of your wishes and it's great DOS editor, but Windows
editor would be better. One another thing that really bothers me with ed.ex
is that you can't select text with it! (to delete, cut or copy it).

When I'm running EECS (fullscreen) and I'm doing something else in Windows
computer works very slow. This is probably common to all DOS programs. This
is another reason why editor should be Windows editor.
