I love ED.EX

It is set up as the default text editor on my system.
It reads ANYTHING. 

If you learn the few simple commands it is extremely
quick to use, especially for cut/copy and paste whilst
programming.

Anybody who is seriously put off by a text screen 
should go and get a copy of VB.

If it's not to your individual taste, then use something 
else, but it's a great little editor make no mistake.
