I love ed.ex too - but I find myself agreeing with
Travis as well.

Most users are now addicted to fondling a mouse. The
lean simplicity and speed of ed.ex is lost on most new
user's who are reluctant to read or unable to access
the brief instructions to learn how to run the
program.

It would behoove RDS commercially to amend ed.ex - at
leas adding cross platform mouse support so user's can
point and click their way to whatever they need.

Here again is my ed.ex wish list:

1. Cross platform mouse support.
2. A full screen hot key toggle:
  - ed.ex's horizontally split windows is great, but
viewing a current file full screen without having
to close all the other files would be great!
3. Easy user editable macros
4. Ability to add color syntax support for 3rd party
   libraries.

It is sad that the current ed.ex is so under
appreciated. But it is a sign of the times. We are
stuck with GUI's.
