Hi Mark,

There is still alot I have wrapped but not tested or documented
and lots still to be wrapped.

I think the "actual" added value to the wrapper is minimal in most cases.

The "major" (in my opinion) classes of routines still to be wrapped are:

Joystick,
Polygon rendering,
Transparency and patterned drawing,
Converting between color formats,
Flic,
3D Maths, and
GUI.

Add to that testing/documentation/converting the rest of the samples
and bug fixes and I probably have a 6 month job ahead of me.

BUT .... I don't know where I'm going from here.

At this stage I think my plan will be to document and test some more
of the routines already wrapped and then start using the library to write
some software and only convert routines as needed.

For instance maybe no one will ever do any 3D stuff in euAllegro and I'll
waste a week or more of time converting/testing and documenting routines
no one will ever use.

I'd like to start playing with euLibnet with euAllegro and write some sort
of LAN game .... simple at first like a Invaders/Dodgem type of game
just to test what can be achieved before starting some major projects.

I'm still interested in non game programming as well. One of the areas
I have investigated (but done no real work) is in David Cuny's area
of cross platform GUI's ... I'd like to investiagte Delphi as a tool
for creating a Windows GUI similar to Win32Lib, and alternatively
wxWindows. These are all areas which interest me but depending
on which way the dice falls who knows what I'll end up playing with.

I seem to be rambling again ... it's late, I'm tired .. and it's time for
bed.

goodnight

Ray Smith
