Hi, I would like to edit the program file for this black jack game. To tell pgm to view *.png file instead of .bmp files. Can someone tell me what to look for & enter in the .exw file? It does not work to just enter .png where .bmp is listed in the .exw file. Lee

And I suppose you knew it all when you came to Euphoria Sephiroth_? Sorry lakatzz at juno.com ! He did answer your question right but, he didnt add that there are alternative libraries on the user contribution page. One that I use alot is named "incbm" that allows you to include you bmp images in your programs and it also makes the bmp near the compression size you would find in RLE encoded bmp's. If you need help dont be apprehensive, just ask, someone has or can find an answer to almost anything related to programming in general. Ive asked so many questions myself I couldnt begin to tell you. Even still, after almost 5 yrs useing Euphoria I dont know it all... I hope this helps, Euman euman at bellsouth.net > hey, in case you haven't noticed, you can't simply substitute png for > bmp. they're two entirely different formats! one is from the 80's and > offers no compression(unless you count RLE), and the other is new and > offers far superior compression...and is not supported by euphoria or > any library written for euphoria. if you want to use PNG images so > badly, you have to choices. convert them into BMP's using a program that > can read PNG images, or write a PNG library. I have already converted the .bmp files over to .png format. I just want to tell bjv2 it has .png files to look for instead of .bmp. I am not trying to compile all the pgm files, only to use pgm files the way they came. > If you need help dont be apprehensive, just ask, someone > has or can find an answer to almost anything related to > programming in general. Good as I do have several question that have been running in my head since I learned of Euphoria last week. > I hope this helps, It does & thanks.
