Hi Euphorians! Anyone interested in doing serious game production in Euphoria? I'm leaning towards getting back into doing the most amazing things anyone's ever seen in Euphoria, and doing something amazing, big, and fun. It would be fun to do a quality commerical game. Anybody wanna help? Oh yeah, check out the New user contributions on the Euphoria site, Robert just put up the complete, registered versions of OidZone, StarThief, Starkiller, and Invaders, as well as the demo version of StarRanger (Nobody ever registered it, so I never got around to doing the full version...) and also the full source code and all game resources for OidZone, including all the artwork in BMP files, and the source for the program that creates the big .dat files the game uses. I used the Arcade Game Engine I developed for OidZone in all the rest of my games. If anyone is interested in buying the book I wrote explaining the source code and game engine, you can still get it from me for $20. Something fun is right around the corner! You're gonna have a lot of trouble trying to code a *real* game in Eu... The best Eu can do, is produce one of them 10 buck games you find lying around supermarkets...at best... A 3D game is out of the question... People that have D3D-based videocards are gonna be dissapointed, as there is no way of using DX in Eu, and Exotica would burry the game even further... As it crashes every two seconds ona systsem like mine. The only game engine for Eu out there is Morfit, and the license don't allow commercial games... Good luck man, cos you're gonna need it... Lets burn the tires and lite the fires ! When do we start ? And give me a little bit info if you already have a game on your mind we are going to make . I`m in the mood for some ching-chang`s($$) If its 3D , i am all in for modeling . If this baby burns , we can continue with more games .... Look here , we got a hole bunch of ppl on this list so we can make more than a small game , we can go wild . With MTS`s DDraw thing on the coming (wich he will finish ....) we can use that . If Kat`s AI thing works nice , we can use her tecnolegy for mart AI . Read ya later !
