Mouse Wheel

Got a good one for you.  Your comments appreciated.

First, lets assume that I'm using the latest versions of everything 
Euphoria related.

I use a Microsoft Wireless IntellMouse Explorer II.

Whenever I program Euphoria using an editor created in Euphoria and I 
move the mouse WHEEL, the program (editor) crashes.  If 
I run a program in the interpretive mode (.exw) and move the mouse 
WHEEL, the program crashes.  Once I bind the program I no longer have 
the WHEEL problem. 

Please don't tell me not to use the wheel (whether it's needed or used).

I do not have a "onMouse" routine declared somewhere.

Any help would be appreciated and Thank you in advance
