I have to disagree depending on the application. Eu wont stand up to C on some things that must be extremely fast, but for quite a few things it seems to do just fine. If you have a fast computer, you can do even more still. Recently i wrote a windows program to simply balance my checkbooks, and now instead of taking 15 to 30 minutes, it takes about 120 seconds (no kidding) to balance all my accounts. To enter a new item, about 5 seconds or less. The neat thing is, it only took about 6 hours to write from scratch. Oh yeah, recently i also wrote a jpg/bmp picture viewer. While the decompressor is written in C, the viewer itself is ALL in Euphoria. Ive submitted it to RDS also. --Al
