Seems that I might have sent a blank e-mail.=0D =0D On another computer I wrote a basic program that output the contents of a file in tab-delimited order. =0D The file contained an alpha numeric key and 4 alpha fields. I didn't enclose anything in quotes.=0D I used edp.exw to create a database and import the file. After it was imported I looked at the table =0D using edb.exw. Under KEY was my key. Under DATA1 was my key (again).=20 Under DATA3 was =0D my first field, DATA4 had the 2nd field and likwise up to DATA7 which had m= y field 5.=0D =0D Why is my key showing up both under KEY and DATA1. What happened to DATA2?= =0D =0D When asked if I wanted o create a primary key I said no. I also said no when it asked if I wanted to create and eusql database.=0D =20
