I have succeeded in compiling ecu generated C Code and running several large programs, including one using Irv Mullins EuGTK Library with the Intel C 7.0 compiler for Linux. Intel claims that this compiler executes code up to 3o% faster than gcc. It is available free for non commercial use. All I had to do is install the compiler and then substitute the path to the icc compiler for the references to gcc in the make file. I am a rank amateur at this.. so just about anyone should be able to get it to work. I haven't experimented with any of the intel c compiler specific options yet. For those of you who might be interested here is a link to the Intel C compiler for Linux download page: http://www.intel.com/software/products/compilers/clin/
