Hey there Pete, After using the new column paste a bit i was finding it rather a hassle to have to 'select' lines where the paste is to occur. Granted, this is better than nothing, but a program doesnt have to know what every line will be before it pastes, does it? If the user moves the cursor to the column where he wants to paste (first line) and then clicks say, "Paste Column", then the program would know how many lines to paste by virtue of having them all on the clip board. You might add messages like, "column overlaps at least one line" or something like that in case the user tries to paste in a column where all but a few lines are very very short and those one or two or three lines are much longer but the user cant see them yet because they are scolled out of view. Dont get me wrong, it's nice having it, but imagine having to paste 10,000 lines in a column...you'd have to select all those lines before you could paste anything. What do you think? Any questions just yell :) Take care, Al E boa sorte com sua programacao Euphoria! My bumper sticker: "I brake for LED's" From "Black Knight": "I can live with losing the good fight, but i can not live without fighting it". "Well on second thought, maybe not."
