SDL Mixer

I ran the SDL Mixer demo by Mark Akita and my mouse stopped responding (i 
could see the cursor but it wouldn't move) and it doesn't seem to 
acknowledge keypresses either. Anyway, between the "Play sample" and "Play 
mod" parts the screen got all white for a few seconds. Is that a feature or 
a bug (or perhaps both..) ?
