On a related note, I've started working on an ODBC wrapper.  So far, I've
only used it on Access, but it shouldn't have any difficulty connecting to
anything for which you have an ODBC driver.  It's not quite ready for
release.

So far, I've only connected using DSN's, not connect strings.  Turned out to
be easier than I thought. :)

PS Kat, when I mentioned commercial DB apps, I was really talking about
writing a front end to something like Notes/Oracle/SQL
Server/DB2/Informix/Progress etc.  Namely, the type of DB corporations tend
to run, and where the front ends are often written in VB.
