Jerry, Check out this link: http://www.bit.umkc.edu/vu/course/cs281/lectures/simplification/quine-McClus key.html The Quine-McCluskey method is guaranteed to work, but the computation time grows exponentially with the number of variables (propably true of any other sure-fire method). -- Mike Nelson
