I used to use a program called MultiLauch, a free utility downloadable
from the PC Magazine website (go to their free PC Magazine Utilities
page). It allowed you to easily make multiple associations for a file on
the right-click context menu. For example, you could right click a Readme.doc
file and choose Word,
Wordpad or Notepad.
