You actually want a user to to select all of them at the same time? Well let's do some quick guesses... 12,379 (call it 13,000) times 20 bytes per name = 260,000 bytes, plus the path name to the folder (256) is about 261,000 bytes. So I guess 8000 bytes doesn't cut it, eh? It begs the questions as to why one would want to have that many files in a single folde anyhow. I'm sure there are better organisational solutions to the one you are currently using.
