Winlib32 0.55.1 Fatal Error: Error code 498

Hi all,
I get a Fatal Error with Winlib32 versions 0.55.0 and 0.55.1
When I try to run a program that uses the Winlib32 I get:
"Error code 498
Common controls could not be initialized!
Win32Lib V0.55.0"
(and Win32Lib V0.55.1)
Version 0.45 works fine.
I run it on a Windows 95 pc. What could be the problem?
