     I haven't had any luck with QBasic games in the past..  I did follow
the links
and download some more examples to try though.

    No doubt in my mind.  I have QBasic, QuikBasic, FirstBasic, PowerBasic,
GFABasic, Liberty Basic, Asic, and Moonrock which I experiment with now and
then.  And yet all of my Basic experiments have a way of ending up in
Euphoria...and making me wish I'd started there.  There's something that
draws
people to the Basic language, no denying that, but there's just not enough
to
keep 'em there...or something...
