The problem is that I got him to use riched32.dll but with a class name of RichEdit20A instead of RICHEDIT. The class name and the dll name have to be in sync. "Msftedit.dll" is just the latest richedit code from MS. It comes with WinXP. -- Derek Parnell Melbourne, Australia
