Ahhh, now I see what you mean!

I wanted to reply to Patrick, but didn't have his concerning mail anymore.
So I quoted a part of your post, to reply to him. I didn't think that it
was a problem because:
a) You were discussing with him, and so perhaps you were also interested
   in my words.
b) I quoted your names and the '>' signs in an unambiguous way, so that
it was clear, who wrote what.

However, I admit that it was a rather unusual way of posting. Sorry for
any inconvenience.

> Do you want me to answer?

My post was not meant as a question to you, but if you like, please
answer. smile

   Juergen

A: Because it considerably reduces the readability of the text.
Q: Why?
A: Top posting.
Q: What is annoying in e-mail and news?
