I'm quite happy about Rob's decision to go open source. Phiosophically, I love
open source but dislike the FSF's "Proprietary Software Is Evil" mantra; however,
the LGPL is fine, as are several alternatives. My only concern about PD is
whether a nefarious person could grab onto Eu, make some changes and copyright
it, shutting the rest of us out. If this is not legally possible, then PD is
totally fine with me.
