Internet Server

I'm looking for the barebones code to write a MUD from. I realize I'll have
to use win32lib.ew and the winsock.ew (is that what it's called?)

What else will I need? I don't want to use that internet server already
made, I want to work with something from the ground up, but not from
nothing. Ideally, I'd like to have the code that allows me to startup the
server and start accepting telnet connections, and also already has
functions to send and receive data.

I'm obviously new to winsock programming, but I'm eager as hell. Can someone
help me?
