1. Internet Server

I'm looking for the barebones code to write a MUD from. I realize I'll have to use win32lib.ew and the winsock.ew (is that what it's called?) What else will I need? I don't want to use that internet server already made, I want to work with something from the ground up, but not from nothing. Ideally, I'd like to have the code that allows me to startup the server and start accepting telnet connections, and also already has functions to send and receive data. I'm obviously new to winsock programming, but I'm eager as hell. Can someone help me? -Phil _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web. The latest and greatest version of the Winsock wrapper is svrsckip.ew, and I beleive that the version is 0.15. > >What else will I need? I would definitely suggest looking very closely at Eusrv203, at least for ideas on how to handle multiple connections, etc. I haven't seen any other Eu programs which use Asynchronus sockets, which is what you'll need. >I'm obviously new to winsock programming, but I'm eager as hell. Can someone >help me? Well, don't feel bad. I knew nothing about sockets at all 3 or 4 weeks ago, but since then, I've almost completed a fully-functional STMP/POP3 mail server in Eu. This is thanks mostly to the code posted by Hawke', Jesus Consuegra, and Greg Harris. Greg has also been kind enough to answer many of my questions personally. If there's anything in particular you want to ask, fire away, and I'll do my best to answer, or find someone who can...my personal email address is bjackson at 2fargon.hypermart.net Good luck!
