Hi

Decided to have a fiddle with this myself - initially didn't work, so do this

As root
cp /usr/x11/lib/libX11.so.6.2 /usr/lib/libX11.so
cp /usr/x11/lib/libXt.so.6.0  /usr/lib/libXt.so
cp /usr/x11/lib/libXm.so.3.0.1 /usr/lib/libXm.so

It worked (all demos)

The important thing to note - the destinations must be as shown
The sources may vary slightly in name, but it is the actual library that you 
are copying, not the link. 

Bernie - you may want to add a root copier to your library for first time 
users, sorry I know why you wanted to do this, so it would 'just work', but
its not happening here!
