I've tried again here as you can see: as root... linux:/usr/X11R6/lib # ls libX11* libX11.so. libX11.so.6 libX11.so.6.2 linux:/usr/X11R6/lib # ln -s libX11.so /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6 ln: creating symbolic link `/usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6' to `libX11.so': File exists linux:/usr/X11R6/lib # exu x_demo.exu Can not open library libX11.so I've obviously screwed up something on my system regarding X11, Royally. I've posted this infor to the SuSE mailing list. Perhaps they'll be able to straighten me out. Frankly, I'm waiting for SuSE 10.1 to be released. However, I might even switch back to Mandrake, particularly if Robert decides to use Mandrake for Euphoria 3.0. Thanks again to Bernie, Chris, Elliott and all who have tried to help me resolve this problem. Ken Rhodes 100% MicroSoft Free SuSE Linux 10.0 No AddWare, SpyWare, or Viruses! Life is Good
