System Backup / Restore

Hi all. I was looking in the Web for a program capable to backup Windows system files to later eventually restore them in case of malfunction. I found that all of these programs only backup system.dat and user.dat, that is, the Registry, plus some other small bits of information such as autoexec.bat, config.sys, etc. I have some questions about this, and hope some of you can answer them: 1) Isn't also necessary to backup the files under \windows\system and its subdirectories, in order to make an effective backup? Because some software installation may replace .DLLs with newer, bad ones. I think also files under the \windows directory (but not subdirectories other than 'system') should be backuped. 2) Is there an Euphoria program able to perform this task? I found none in The Archive. 3) Is somebody aware of a program that can backup a directory in an incremental way? Because one might notice a malfuntion not immediately after a new software installation, but later, AFTER a backup was made, destroying the old, good backup; and backuping everything each time is dispendious. Regards.
