The author of this web site must have a high speed internet connection because he installed his system live via the internet. I recommend that you purchase or download the 7 CDROM ISO images from a Debian web site and burn your own CDROMs. This way you can pick and choose which software packages you want to load to your Debian installation using the deselect or apt-get install commands that Debian uses to load new software. My current computer system dual boots between Windows 2000 and Debian Linux using the LILO system booting menu. I do 99% of my home computing using Debian Linux. Purchase and read a Linux beginners book before you attempt to use Linux. It's definitely not a Microsoft Windows product. Dan
