So John DeHope decided it's about the right time to take another swipe
at me...
First of all he talks about his own clever font routines. He will not
bother sharing them with us, but he is willing to dispense a few
pearls of wisdom:

Not too difficult for you, John. But I can tell now we are all eagerly
awaiting your first contribution! (I hope you do not want me to count
your rehash of Refman.doc in MS Word format, or do you?)
John goes on to give us a bit more insight into his way of thinking, and
then he delivers his final blow:
