Thanks for the reply Derek. I'm using onKeyDown to be able to respond to 'Return', 'Escape', 'Down Arrow', and 'Up Arrow'. This works fine. I get control and do my thing but windows 'rings a bell' when I hit 'escape' or 'return'. Is there a way do defeat the bell? ...george ----- Original Message ----- From: "Derek Parnell" <ddparnell at bigpond.com> To: "EUforum" <EUforum at topica.com> Subject: Re: noise > > Some extra info might be nice. > > Exactly when does the noise occur. > > If you are talking about Alt-char combinations for buttons, then this is a > know bug and has been fixed in the next release.
