Hi George, You might remember that I mentioned I had the same monitor wakeup problem with a Morfit program. The C version of that program had no problems but the Eu port would prevent the computer from waking up. I mention it again because my Eu program did not use system_exec(), shellExecuteEx() or anything like that. However, I did use get_key() to do a simple program exit. Your comment regarding "losing focus" has got me wondering if that was my problem. An open console screwing up the wakeup? As a matter of interest do you have an open console anywhere? The Eu doc for system_exec() says "system_exec() does not start a new DOS shell." so I suspect not but I thought I would mention it. Good luck!
