** i get your point,...but windows is advancing. many windows 
programmers out there no longer use basics. I'm talking this from a 
commercial point of view.

"In most cases?" take a look at all new programmes out there, GUI is 
playing a big role in their success. 

nevertheless, you're still right.....so can these examples be added to 
your tutorial somewhere for the mean time....or if they will never be 
added to win32lib. i have bundles of cool things i have translated from 
api to win32lib?
