Actually, it suggests renaming if you want to install to
the *same* directory.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "gray-out window".

Yes, Ray Smith reported that, and I've uploaded a fixed
install procedure for that.

It would be better to be more precise, but the more places where
I say 3.0.1 instead of just 3.0 (or 30), the more chances I have
to forget to change something to 3.0.2 (or 302) with the next release.
