This seems very odd to me. Two possibilities:
1) One or more pranksters are somehow going around and signing up numbers of
people to the Euphoria mailing list, doing so against their will and without
their knowledge, or
2) We have one person, who has far too much time on their hands, obtaining
multiple mailing accounts and pelting various mailing lists with messages
about how they're getting stuck on the mailing list and how annoyed they
are.
Granted, there may be more possibilities I have not cited, and this may all
simply be a coincidental string of people trying to get off the mailing list
without any knowledge of how they got on it in the first place.
However, I am struck by how similar all of these "annoyed" messages have
been, in both tone and writing style. Maybe it's also just a coincidence
that all of these unwilling subscribers have complained in almost the exact
same way. Or how there has never been more than one of these people on the
list at any given time.
Maybe I am unwittingly giving this "annoyed" person the attention they crave
with these posts. If so, I apologize to the list at large for complying in
this fashion.
I will now return my attention to Euphoria programming topics.
