I assume you are talking about an X-term window.
When I get an error, and press Enter, the window
reverts back to the way it was just before the Euphoria
program was executed.

After the cursor moves to the bottom, what happens?
Can you enter more commands, or is the window frozen?
I'm using Red Hat 5.2. What are you using?
