Since when does Linux NEED more than 1.58Gb? Linux can run on as little as 200 megs if your really pushing it. ( that means fewer cool things like perl, python, KDE, GNOME, etc ) Linux with KDE *or* GNOME and GCC wont take anymore than about 400-500 Megs ( this is including all that great linux stuff like, file utils, almost every compressor, dial-up software, firewalls, routing software, etc. the list goes on and on ) Did i mention ultimate Un*x Multithreading, Multiuser that Linux is based on? GNU/Linux vs Microcrap the battle was over before is began. p.s. if you only have a dial-up ISP ( like me ) and are rather sick, you can take the few days it takes to download Linux for free. -- could it be? no. not him. not again. cense
