  Is anyone out there other than MTS using or having the Watcom compiler.

  I don't see any talk or excitement on the list about using it.

  I guess that this is good evidence that the translator is not
  supporting the correct "C" compiler.

  It appears that there are no users that have a Watcom.

  There is no place that Watcom can be purchased.

  I guess that everyone is expected to wait until next year and
  see if the free version will be available.

  I still do not understand why a ".a" library can't be generated
  for use with DJGPP.

  DJGPP as far as I can tell, compiles the generated files of the
  Linux version. Of course the I can't link it because of gpm ( mouse )
  or ncurses. But it seems that the mouse and graphics can be added
  to the library.

  So what is the problem ?
