I have the start of an SMTP in Eu, and the POP3 to retrieve the incoming
email,, and there are several SMTP in the archives. Serving the web pages
with an active scripted server is a snap, i've been able to do that for 2 years
now, building pages on the fly.

I can get my isp to make my ip static, and i am online 24-7 anyhow,,, my
only question is bandwidth. I can handle the email, cause that can be done
sporadically and is not time sensitive,,, but even then, if there are 100 msgs
per day to 1000 subscribers,, my isp might balk at 100,000 emails per day.
That's 300Kbytes, and would be 20minutes per day just emailing. I am on a
dialup here, can't get anything better. How many people are on the list? I did
ask about a co-lo box, he wants $135/month to plug in *my* box there,, i
can't do that.
