We have been here a long time, we expected Eu to grow. We expected our requests would be heard, and our needs be met. I am looking for a language most like Eu, but with the same features i asked for 5 years ago, which RDS can't bring themselves to supply. Lua, Tk, Perl, Python, Php, mirc,, don't quite do it for me by themselves, but Eu could have been absolutely perfect, the top language to beat all languages. I'll probably go with Php. Or Bach.... depending on the license terms regarding how i can use it on my own computers at home. OpenEu doesn't seem to be getting anywhere. I am sorry to see Derek leave. I was sorry to see DavidC leave. Irv leaving too, and others. I can't figure how RobC's overriding concern for the original vision of the language is worth this brain drain of contributors. RDS should be hiring these people, not running them off. Shooting the language in the foot with 2.5, and then charging twice the price for it, is simply stunning. Kat
