I'm actually exploring that as we speak. I've discovered a little library
called "japi" (Java Application Programming Interface) It uses the Java
Runtime Environment in a non-oop way, so languages like Basic, Pascal or
Euphoria can access it. Best of all (in theory), a program written for Japi
should work on any platform that support JRE. As long as the rest of my code
stays platform-independant, or I make adjustments by calling platform() then
I'll have produced a truely cross-platform app. The only downfalls right now
are that the user needs JRE installed, and japi is a bit buggy, but I think
that may be the fault of JRE.

I'm also downloading Mandrake, which I plan on installing on another
computer so I can get more in-depth with my cross-platform programming.
