Hi, You should really try Linux. Really, Microsoft is a pain in the butt with its nonsense policies and restrictions. Linux is not perfect in hardware support but it is getting there. There are a whole lot of applications that linux has that can satisfy almost every need of a person switching from windows. As rgards your scanner, you should check out the sane project to see whether your scanner is supported. I am now using Mozilla on Debian Linux to type this. The sane project is located at: http://www.mostang.com/sane/ Do let me know if you need any help on Linx. I will do my best. Thanks and Regards, Michael.
