Sounds like a corp version of XP to me. I dont like the idea of activation. I thought it was a one-time-only deal, where you activate and that's done. But Nooooooo, MS wants you to re-activate if more then 3 hardware items change in the system. Not only did they over do it, i think they are up to something more severe. If someone doesnt stop them, this kind of=20 thing is just going to grow to an even worse state. How much money can they possibly be losing due to piracy of their op system? Most people that do pirate software wont buy the version if they cant get it for free, so i believe MS loses very little money because of this. The only thing i see them doing is degrading their charity system if anything. People who cant possibly afford it=20 wont be able to get it anymore. That's how i see it. Who feels like contacting MS every time you change out your hardware? Hopefully XP gets outdated REALLY fast so we can either get by this problem or see once and for all whats up next. Seems to me they got their roots in really deep now in society, where we are very close to being totally dependant=20 on them for software. This isnt good at all. I guess last time this issue was on the board i must have been immersed in something else and didnt realize the importance. Any comments/opinions are very welcome.
