Most of the free licenses are too long for my taste; their goals tend to be:
- If you use the library, you must make the source available to users
- If you change the library, you must make the source available to the
holder to the copyright.
I don't think that either of these are really required, and they place too
much of a burden on the user of the library. I'm trying to decide between
the BSD or the zlib/libpng licenses. They both are short, understandable,
and not overly restrictive.
