Are you just wanting > to port both libraries to be used with Euphoria Linux? Actually no. At the moment, I'm really interested in porting only one lib. For various reasons, I've chosen allegro. One reason for choosing that lib is the work you've already done. A second, I like Allegro better than SDL. However, I realize that my opinion isn't the only one. Which is why I ask the question as to whether or not the euphoria community would prefer an Allegro port or a SDL port. You mentioned difficulty getting started with Linux. From my own experience, I can say it's much easier to start with Redhat or Mandrake. Both of those distributions seem to do a good job at providing the most drivers and software to run most PC's. It helps,of course if your using popular hardware. Like sound blaster, and Nvidia for example. Ron_W http://www.techport80.com
