No, I don't have any specific date in mind, but I do feel some urgency since the 2.2 interpreter package was released more than a year and a half ago. (I spent more than a year on the translator plus EDS.) The namespace change and a few other enhancements are done. I'm currently finishing up the 2-pass binder. After that I'll do several more enhancements chosen from a huge list. After that, I have to test the full source with the other non-WATCOM, non-GNU, C compilers. The scanner and parser have never been compiled with the other C compilers, only the run-time library, but the scanner/parser is pretty generic so I don't expect any problems. I also have to tidy up the source, and snip out the few bits that I won't be releasing. In short, I will be busy for at least a couple of months before I can release 2.3 alpha. I expect the source will be available for the alpha release. It will be updated for the beta and final releases. The Translator will also be updated to 2.3, but that work is essentially done. There is no point in putting off registering the interpreter or translator, since 2.3 will be free for those who register for 2.2 (and everyone who already paid to register 2.2.) I don't know of anyone who is "dead in the water" waiting for a feature in 2.3, but there are some people who are eager to get the source and start hacking away at it.
