I realize that few to no people are really interested or able to extend
the library itself (some C++ *is* required, unfortunately), but if you'd
still be interested in helping, the documentation is getting thinner and
thinner.

I've managed to make wrapping new functionality very easy, so there are
more and more routines available.  Unfortunately, I haven't kept up with
the documentation.  Fortunately, it's fairly easy to fill in the documentation,
because most of the routines are very thin wrappers around the actual
wxWidgets routines.  The wxWidgets routines, therefore, make for some 
great source material (often, little or nothing needs to be changed).

If anyone is interested in helping out with this, please let me know.  I'll
be happy to give you write access to the svn repository (and help you get
set up with that, if necessary).  Or, simply send me the updates, and I'll
merge the changes myself.
