Then reboot your machine. I don't see how this can be a problem, ever. I save all downloads on one drive, unpack/install on a 2nd, and copy the resulting files to the drive i use to run things. This way i don't need to change pointers or include file locations, and i don't need to reboot, rebooting is a *major* pain here. If i can't do the copy, i rename the old dir, and after the install, i copy it to the new install. This has saved my rear many times when installing software that claims to save old data and then goes and erases a couple years of work. What would be nice is if Eu just dropped the new files in and asked if we want the autoexec changed, if it needs changing,,, and no more renaming PD* files. Kat, voicing opinion.
