Hi Rod, just got your message. There a a lot of good ideas and
it will take a few days for me to digest the various possibilities and
decide what will be best for me. I am playing around with making 
a portuguese version of the old HACK game, as I remember it.
If I can get a kernal built that works, then I can add fancier weapons
and monsters and stuff later on. The map part was easy. I also have
some 'dead' monsters and 'dead' objects laying around. They don't
move or do anything yet. I thought it would be better to tackle the
interactions with the objects first before animating the monsters.
