I don't know anything about PPC, but at a minimum, I'd guess that the callback code would need some work. The 4.1 code is actually a lot more portable. It currently runs on three architectures (x86, x86-64, ARM). I'd recommend trying to build a 4.1 version. The 4.0 branch is mainly for bug fixing, and a new architecture sounds a lot like a new feature to me. blink
