1. OS X Packages for 4.0.4 now available

Three OS X packages for 4.0.4 are now online, they are simple: a simple .tar.gz, a simple .tar.bz2 and an installer package.
The source package was removed temporarily as it was translated incorrectly.
The installer package is brand new for the 4.0.4 release and should be considered in a testing status. I'd appreciate any OS X users out there to install from the package and give feedback here.
Thanks,
Jeremy

Any chance you'll add an official PPC build? I have an eMac with Mac OS X Tiger (10.4).
(I did successfully build Euphoria 4.0.3 on my eMac sometime last year.)

Greg,
I'm not sure how to build a PPC version. All of my Apple hardware is Intel. If you have a working 4.0 install of euphoria, you can just grab the source tarball from the Mercurial repo and build a copy yourself, it's really quite easy.

There are links on the left for .zip, .tar.gz, .tar.bz2. Grab one, then just uncompress, cd source, ./configure make

Is this still available? Source code and build directory? That might be really helpful in getting an official PPC port.

I don't know anything about PPC, but at a minimum, I'd guess that the callback code would need some work. The 4.1 code is actually a lot more portable. It currently runs on three architectures (x86, x86-64, ARM). I'd recommend trying to build a 4.1 version. The 4.0 branch is mainly for bug fixing, and a new architecture sounds a lot like a new feature to me.
